Students in this camp will get to star in their very own short films, using green screen technology to provide the setting! This camp will utilize the facilities in the Upper School that are used for Graphic Design and Filmmaking. Campers will create their own stories, put together their own costumes, and perform with their friends.

Students will not be asked to edit the videos — they will be provided by the instructor at the end of the camp. A week long session of dancing to your favorite songs from The Greatest Showman. This musical theatre camp is perfect for those that just need to move! Each day will be accompanied by a craft to use in the dances. An informal showcase is held at the end of the week for all parents to view what the campers learned. Love escape rooms, mysteries, solving puzzles, and finding clues?

Campers use clues to solve riddles and unlock a series of boxes to complete physical breakouts. They also use provided iPads to solve digital breakouts with digital clues and locks. With teacher guidance, small group teams will strengthen their communication, collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking skills while completing two breakout challenges each day. Our summer breakouts are highly engaging and encourage participation from every camper! Come live out Willy Wonka candy-creating fantasies! Campers learn how to cook with sugar and create kid-friendly, mouth-watering candies each day.

Participants make colorful hard candies, chocolate creations, snack bars and more. All chefs sample their creations in class and take some home to share in adorable containers they craft. Improve cursive writing with practice, practice, practice! Students will learn the proper ways to form letters using the danelion system. They will learn proper pencil holding. To make the class more fun, participants will also learn how to form large, fun letterings, like bubble letters, for posters and other school projects.

The kitchen is an awesome place to have fun with science experiments. Campers will use simple, safe household ingredients to explore engaging science concepts. Campers will make, bake, cook, experiment, and participate in multiple sensory activities. The colorful, messy, and sometimes gooey results will spark interest and challenge their thinking. The best part is campers will have a blast while learning! Calling all those interested in the unique offerings of track and field! In this sampler course, campers will explore and practice a different event each day. There will be running events, such as sprints, hurdles, and relays.

There will be throwing events, such as discus and shot put.

FEATURED ALUM – May 12222

There will be jumping events, such as long jump, high jump, and triple jump. Athletes will sample each event and learn about the techniques to succeed at each. Have you always wanted to travel the world? During this week you can! Places explored will include those in Asia, Africa, South America, and more! Campers will love this intriguing sport! Not only will they learn the basic techniques of fencing, but they will also learn the related terminology. Participants are provided with a foil beginner sword and all safety gear such as breast plates, masks, and jackets.

Drills in technique, proper form, and etiquette help build confidence in campers, while tournament style matches develop skills! Students will need pants for flexible movement and tennis shoes.

Want to fly a drone? Come get your game on! Players will complete age-appropriate exercises, activities, and competitive games designed to improve their agility, ball handling, throwing, and catching skills. Campers will compete against one another in drills and games, but will be divided by age, size, and experience as needed.

Camp includes an exciting football skills combine competition to see who is the most accurate passer, has the strongest arm, and is the fastest yard dasher. Camp will be low contact with flag or tag football only, so pads and helmets are not needed. The last day will feature a fun scrimmage for parents to come watch, and the cheerleading camp will join to practice their skills, too. Campers will create incredible pieces using glass, purler beads, and other materials in a mosaic design. These pieces will last for years to come and can be used to decorate a garden, like a tiled pot, or a bedroom with a beautiful wall hanging piece.

Novice sewers will love learning to sew fun and useful projects from scratch. Campers will gain confidence in basic sewing skills with a variety of easy projects: a pin cushion, a fun throw pillow, and a draw-string bag. All campers need to bring is 1 yard of quilting fabric and 3 yards of matching ribbon for the draw-string bag. We will provide the rest!
